ACCP offers a preschool experience for parents and children designed to stimulate the child’s self-expression, creativity, social interaction and independence. 

We also provide an awareness curriculum to help us understand more about God, ourselves and God’s world around us.

Family Involvement

Parent’s interest and involvement gives children the foundation and security they need to learn.  Our cooperative School is a great way for kids and parents to learn positive skills and participate in their children’s education.

Parents act as the teacher’s aid approximately once a month.  We encourage families to share their talents and interests.  Children love sharing their day with their family, and look forward to being the “helping Kid”

Each family serves on a committee and takes part in a fund raiser to help in the operation of our school.

Philosophy

For twenty-five years, Allentown Cooperative Christian Preschool has offered families a sense of community, promoting a caring environment to encourage individual achievement.   ACCP is licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services,”DYFS”.  Certified staff offers a curriculum that meets NJ Standards and Assessment for Student Achievement established by the NJ Board of Education.

Our “Whole Child” philosophy stresses physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual growth.  Children are empowered through a nurturing atmosphere in which they are encouraged to be self confident and self reliant.  Families and staff develop strategies for each child, guided by the principles of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, “NAEYC”, to create happy, life-long learners.
